We’re the GKG Collective, gathering around the achievable vision of inclusion, involvement and engagement.
We bring decades of experience which we aim to share with agencies who are determined that participation should mean something. Whether it is staff contributing to team vision, residents telling it like it is, or agencies creating new services, we can help you engage with reality and integrity.
If you want real engagement which follows through to lasting decisions in communities and organisations, then contact us – The GKG Collective.
The GKG Collective are:
Maitrisara
(middle left)
I bring strengths in group
facilitation and have been training
people to use inclusive, interactive,
participatory learning methods for 20
years. I work closely with local
people enabling them to lead their
own projects, sustain their own
groups and take on roles they never
thought were possible. My
background is in education and voluntary sector
management and I have designed courses for South Bank
University, the Institute of Education, City and Guilds and
the Open College Network.
Sally Ramsden

My strengths lie in designing
collective processes for developing
vision and clarifying core missions
through high-impact consultative
workshops and public events. Recent
clients have included The Learning
Foundation, the University of Sussex
and the Department for Work and
Pensions. I previously worked in
international education development and spent a decade
working in the Arab world as a consultant and journalist.
I am adept at working with a range of stakeholders in a
dynamic environment.
Rose Hallam

I bring to GKGC strong ethics and
a wealth of experience in initiating
collaborative social inclusion projects.
I spent 16 years as the director
of RESTORE, a pioneering mental
health rehabilitation and training
service, and co-founded Pedlars,
the first workers co-operative for
mental health service users. Now,
as a freelancer, I specialise in health, social welfare and
community development/regeneration.
Andrew Woodgate
(Bottom right)
I bring strong skills in process
facilitation, strategic planning
and stakeholder involvement to
GKGC, specialising in ‘un-blocking’
– facing whatever is blocking an
organisation or group and working
with them to discover solutions. A
former stockbroker and management
advisor with NCVO, I have freelanced
since 1998. I am a member of Framework, a values-based
consultancy providing capacity-building support to nonprofit
organisations.
